ΓΕΙΑ ΣΑΣ!!

Well what a week it has been, lots of rain this week again but amazing miracles! 

Monday night we met up with our new friend Austin, he is a student from Nigeria, we had a good lesson and then we were able to extend him a baptismal date. He is on for the 23rd and so it is awesome! 

Tuesday we went to Caritas again. It was super busy so that was good. We had lots to do. Then we had some meetings for the rest of the day. It was good day.

Wednesday we had another good day. Lots of appointments it was good because, at a couple, our investigators had found friends that wanted to hear the message that we had to share or just had friends along for the meetings. It was super cool to be able to have them help us share the message of the restoration with their friends because they already knew it.

Thursday we had another good day, a rainy day, but we were able to explore most of Nicosia before the rain. We went around in the old city a little bit and found some interesting people but it was good. We found some cool lookin roads.

Friday was a rainy day and in the morning we did some service for a less-active member who is going to be moving to the Philippines with his wife. So we helped him pack up some things and then had a meal with him. It was a good time. We hope soon he will be more open to coming back to church. We also had a good meeting with Godlove, and he was having some struggles and so we started a fast with him. It was really cool.

Saturday we had our branch correlation meeting. Then we went to a burger place and had burgers for Elder Ala-Jaaski's birthday, which was good probably the best burger I have had on my mission. Then we in the evening had a branch activity for the Rome temple dedication and watched some videos about the temple. It was good we had a good turn out and the spirit was there.

Sunday was crazy we had so many people come to sacrament meeting that by the end there were no chairs left. It was really cool to see that. Only about half of them were actually members it was awesome to see the blessings from the Lord and to see so many people come and enjoy the spirit.

Today was another great p-day we went out to a village with the whole zone and had a photo scavenger hunt and then we played ultimate Frisbee so it was a good day today! I also got to talk with my fam today that was pretty cool with all of the changes that have been made. It was cool.

ΒΡΟΧΗ PT.?

ΓΕΙΑ ΣΑΣ!!

Well it has been a pretty amazing week this week with lots of fun adventures!

Last Monday we went up to go to the Chinese restaurant that is owned by a member and it was Chinese New Years and so we got turned away and we got to go and meet up with some members that live in the same building and we organized to play some soccer on Saturday with all of their friends it was cool. 

Tuesday we got to go to Caritas again and we had a good time and were able to help lots of people it was cool.

Wednesday it RAINED ALL DAY. So yeah it was interesting. Oh yeah and we also got to go down the escape chute they added to the church so I got to go off the 5th floor and it was pretty fun.

Thursday was another rainy day but we had some appointments and stuff that kept us busy.

Friday was the same as Thursday but we were in in the morning doing studies and as soon as we step out the door it started to rain so we got creative and it was a fun day figuring things out.

Saturday we had a good soccer match with all of our friends we had a lot of friends come and some members and so it was really good and it was good to see everyone loosen up a bit.

Sunday was a good Sunday it was rainy in the morning and that didn't help our attendance very much but we had an awesome meeting and a potluck after and it was a good service. Then we had a meeting with a less active couple he is from England and she is from the Philippines and they were sick so we stopped by and it was a good meeting Roy the man doesn't really want to come to church but is happy to say he is a member and his wife works so it is a difficult situation for them.

Today was a good day it was fruit day so I spent the morning getting the smoothies ready for the week and chopping up our MOUNTAIN of fruit.

ΤΡΕΧΑΜΕ

ΓΕΙΑ ΣΑΣ!

Well it for sure has been a great week full of miracles and good times!

Last Tuesday we had a busy day in the morning. We went to Caritas, which is a place that helps take in the refugees and helps the refugees with the legal process. We help them register new people and you hear these stories. It made me super grateful for the circumstances that I have in my life. Because it is a pretty messed up world that we live in. Then we had a lesson after district council with Godlove. He is awesome. We talked about temples and how we have to be members. Without us even asking him to be baptized he says he knows that he needs to be baptized, and it will be warmer in February. That was awesome! So he will be baptized this month.

Wednesday another great day we had lessons most of the day and really got to see the Lord's hand in the day. 

Thursday we did weekly planning. Then we ran around the city handing out donation bags and having lessons. It was another great day.

Friday we went out to the village in the morning and taught our friend named Derrick. He is a stud. It was cool to drive out to the village. Cyprus is a pretty place and we got to drive through some "mountains", or at least that is what they called them, they were pretty small but it was still awesome. I took a selfie out in the village cause I thought it was a cool place.

Saturday wow we had some amazing miracles that day. My favorite was while we were doing finding I met this woman named Linda from Africa. I taught her most of the restoration. At the end she asked for the Book of Mormon in my hand so she could read it at home, then asked where and when church was so that she could come, and then she came! It was a really cool miracle.

Sunday we had a good day at church we filled the chapel! There were so many friends there is was cool. Afterwards we got to go and have a meal at the senior couple's house. it was our last one because they are leaving soon, then we will no longer have a senior couple in Nicosia which will be interesting. 

Today was a lazy day and guess what? They have Taco Bell here in Cyprus. They deliver so I decided that I was going to try it out.

Well that was my week and I am super grateful for how in the work of the Lord we are guided by the Holy Ghost cause without it nothing would happen! Hope you all have a great week!

ΚΥΠΡΟΣ!!!

ΓΕΙΑ ΣΑΣ ΠΑΙΔΕΙΑ!!

Well this is my first official letter coming from Cyprus! Man it is crazy. I love it here. It is a lot warmer and the people are great!

Last Monday and Tuesday were my last days in Athens. We had to be in a lot to do some training for Elders Roffler and Forsey. We were also able to go out and say goodbye to some of our friend so it was good. 

Wednesday we flew to Cyprus!! It was a long day but a good day.

Thursday was great we got to do weekly planning and I got a feel for the new area. Then we taught some lessons in the afternoon which was awesome! I got to meet one of our friends who's name is Cornell and his family it was a cool experience. They are from Romania but have been in Cyprus for 17 years. He speaks really good English and his wife and daughter speak really good Greek. So we had a fun lesson with them speaking about 3 languages at the same time!

Friday in the morning we headed to Larnaka to have our interviews with President. It was cool on the way there we were able to teach the Restoration to a lady on the bus. Then we came back and did some finding around the streets and taught a lesson it was really cool.

Saturday we had Zone Conference in Limassol! It was really great and we had a really good conference with some amazing trainings!! Also I got to see Elder Goodwin for probably the last time. So we had to take a picture for our last time together. I am gonna miss my tall friend.

(You can also see Elder Fasa with a good photo-bomb) It was really good to see a lot of my old comps at ZC. We had a good time.

Sunday was a great day I got to give a talk at Sacrament meeting. I talked about how the gospel doesn't just give us knowledge but He challenges us to become something more! It was cool the gospel is made to make us happy we just have to live it and let it change us! Then that night while we were doing finding I was able to start talking with a Filipino lady. I was teaching her the Restoration and later on her husband came over and started to join. We became good friends and will be going to teach them and their family sometimes this week. It was super awesome to see the hand of the Lord throughout the experience, cause I had no idea was I was saying but things were just coming out of my mouth it was cool.

ΑΝΤΕ ΑΘΗΝΑ!

Well it was for sure a week full of miracles!

So Tuesday we had a good day we did practice for our play that was on Friday and Saturday and then we started an exchange I got to go back to Piraeus to be with Elder Nelson and we had a good exchange we also got transfer calls. I am going to be heading to Cyprus to serve there for a little bit I will be going to the capital city, Nicosia, with Elder Howells from Whales.

Wednesday we had a great end of our exchange with a big miracle we started talking with this young man on the road and then he just was like do you guys want to go and sit on a bench and talk and so we did and turns out his Grandma had passed away and he was struggling a little bit and we were able to teach the plan of Salvation it was really cool! Then we had after a lesson with George and Nikos which went amazing as always with them and then we had a meal with the Webbs they are a US embassy family but Sister Webb is from South America and she made us tamales they were so good.

Thursday was a great day we had some lesson and got ready for the play it was a good day. 

Friday was a great day we had the Book of Mormon Play in Greek and it went pretty well and it was fun to have a good time with the members.

 Saturday was another amazing day we did the play again in English I may or may not have found out that Theater just isn't my thing but hey I gave it my best shot. Then afterwards we had the baptism of Najeemb! It was a good service and he bore his testimony at the end it was really simple but really good and invited the spirit it was just amazing!

Sunday we had a great day at Church we had the confirmation of Najeemb and it was so cool to see how happy and different he was after his baptism. Then we also had George and Nikos at church and we had a lesson with them and we watched the talk from President Nelson about revelation and they loved it and afterwards we read through the articles of faith they are so determined to be baptized it is just so awesome! And as always they wouldn't leave without a picture it was good.

Today was a good day we cleaned and got haircuts and then moved Elder Roffler into his new apartment and than played Basketball at the church! Then we are here doing email.

ΧΙΟΝΙ!!!!!!

So this week was just another great week yet again!

Last Tuesday we get up in the morning and there was snow!!! And I got to go run at the track that had snow on it, it was super cool!

 Then after we met up with our two friend who came to Church on Sunday, George and Nikos. We had an amazing first lesson. I would have to say it was the best restoration lesson that I have been able to teach on my whole mission. They just got it. It was so amazing. We organized to meet on Friday and then we took some pictures.

Also this day we were got a call from Najeemb and he told us that he wanted again to be baptized and so we were super excited!

Wednesday we were able to meet up with Najeemb. We talked about what happened and he told us that he wasn't ready to become a Christian at the time. After he left he said things went downhill and then he had an accident. He said that he prayed and asked Jesus for strength. He said he didn't mean to but it just came out and he said that he just felt at peace. He decided to call us it was so cool! 

Thursday we had a good day and another good lesson with Najeemb. 

Friday, was another great day Elder Roffler went up to Albania for MLC. I was able to go with Elder Celestini. We went and had a lesson with Nikos and George again. They again wanted to take more pictures it was awesome! They also accepted baptism and will be baptized on the 2nd of February!

Saturday we had a great day. We in the morning went to the big youth activity for the year and helped them play a Book of Mormon murder mystery game. Then acted out for them the story from Helaman 8. It was good and I got to have some American pancakes for the first time since I left home so that was pretty awesome. They came with some miss butterworth's maple syrup it was good. In the evening we were able to go with George to a baptismal service and it was really amazing he loved it!

Sunday, we had a great day at church the branch president in the Greek branch gave an amazing talk on why our church is true and compared it to the original church it was really cool. Then we had lunch with the Homs to celebrate Johnny's birthday it was cool.

That was my week it is so cool to see how God puts people into our paths and how we are able to help people as long as we are ready! So lets always be ready!

ΠΩ ΠΩ ΤΙ ΚΡΥΟ ΚΑΝΕΙ ΕΔΩ!?!?!

ΓΕΙΑ ΣΑΣ!!!

Hey everyone and Happy New Years, it is crazy that it is already 2019 time just flies when your having fun.

So Tuesday we had a good day and did a lot of work on Facebook and started to get things organized so that we can actually do some work on Facebook.

Wednesday we taught English class in the morning and then we had a couple of lessons and a meal appointment at a senior couples house with our investigator named Ajit.

Thursday we had a day of finding it was the first time we had really done a lot of finding for the week and it was good we had some good experience I was actually able to run into a guy that I had met during the summer and gave him a Book of Mormon and he didn't give us his number but I saw him and he has read most of the book and is now ready to meet up! It was such a cool experience!

Friday, we did service at the soup kitchen which was good and then we had a lot of lessons with our friends, the best was we met up with two friends that we had made from the soup kitchen named Maesom and Arash, they are amazing and just want to learn and Arash had already read the Book of Mormon through Jarom which is amazing and he says he likes what it is saying which is just awesome!

Saturday we had a baptism and it was good we went and Arash and Maesom both came and they were able to feel the spirit which was just another amazing experience.

Sunday was a day of MIRACLES, so first we on the way to church we meet this guy that was coming to church and he had found the church himself! His name is Emmanuel from Pakistan here is a pic we took leaving from church at the Metro.

Then we also had two Greek men show up, Nikos and Georgos, and they came to church because they saw the Facebook page!! It was a huge miracle and at the end they told us that they would like to become Active Members of the church after learning a bit more about it and it was just so awesome we will see them tomorrow we are excited!

Then today was a great day we deep cleaned our apartment and not going to lie it is super nice to have a nice clean home.

So yeah that was my week I love you all and hope you have great weeks!
